Good news for bloggers and webmasters! Recently, Google has announced the beta version of Google Ad Manager however, becoming a member on this program requires an invitation from Google. The recent advertising program from Google got its idea from doubleclick.com (which is now own by Google).
Google explained:
If you operate a site with remnant ad inventory as well as reserved ad inventory that you sell directly to advertisers, then Ad Manager is for you. It can help you sell, schedule, deliver, and measure directly-sold and network-based inventory. Google Ad Manager offers a wealth of features, including an intuitive user interface, automated yield optimization, and proven Google speed and reliability. Best of all, Google Ad Manager is free.
So how does this system work?
for publisher, like in Google Adsense, you can customize your ad unit whether you like it big or small, wide or tall then once you done get the code of the AD unit you just created and paste it on your website depending on where you want your AD sponsor will be displayed.
The best part of this new advertising program from Google is that once you have place the code in your website, let Google Ad Manager fill those EMPTY AD space without the any hustle at all (it will always depend on the advertiser whether he will buy the space or not) however, what makes this more better is that, by default Google Adsense (if you have one) will be displaying on the EMPY AD space for you to continue earning money.
If your interested to participate you can apply here and wait for Google to respond if you’re qualify to try their new product.
